Intention debt retirement is an interesting concept as I am getting back to half finished initiatives but at a much higher level of capability. Microcontroller based bespoke physical control panels to eliminate the need to touch apps in the home on top of consumer commodity Kasa devices and the like. Claude helped me use OnShape to get PCBway to make some precision brushed aluminum and now l’m on to circuit design KiCad. Each path would have been a month and now it takes an afternoon.
Biggest adaption is learning how much I can actually close out and ramping the pace accordingly.
i do not see why the new canvas needs to be built upon the old work. Perhaps, though, it is based on old ideas. put the archival identity to bed and start anew.
consider that new ideas can now be minimally implemented and mature to a stage where they "have sex" with each other much more effectively - that gives you the option of runaway idea evolution. after a few cycles of evolution, I would expect the past to look rather unconnected, like the placenta of a 1 year baby.
of course, why wait to finish the old? bet that in 1-2 years claude code++ can handle them without you, and start working on the new now.

My archival self is focusing on the consumptive - I might get close to a comprehensive list of books I’ve read.
