In today’s episode, in honor of Bastille Day next week, and Fourth of July last week, I want to talk about the ongoing evolution in elitism, and the problem of how the emerging new elites can be better than the old ones being toppled.
It is my term. I use it to mean what many social justice activists seem to consider the ideal outcome of diversity/equity campaigns in the workplace -- a strong bureaucratic staff hierarchy enforcing a specific vision of workplace social justice.
I’m not familiar with the proposal for extreme industrial bureaucratism. What/who is championing that?
